Marble aggregate different ranges of size |
Marble aggregate is a white thin powder without odor. Variety of low-cement, small-grained carbonates. It is represented in different fractions. Use and designation It is filling and weighting agent of clay-free drilling muds. It is used for increase of the density of drilling muds up to 1400 kg/m3. It is used for creation of impermeable filter cakes that insulate the first channels in reservoirs of open holes and ensures protection of productive reservoirs against contamination in the course of pumping of different process solutions and fluids during drilling, completion of wells, killing and preservation. In order to ensure highly efficient drilling-in it is necessary to inject marble weighting agent into mud. This agent together with polysaccharidic reagents ensures reliable sealing of nearwellbore area and ensures high permeability of reservoir. It dissolves in 15% hydrogen chloride (HCL). It has low structure-forming capacity. It is environmentally safe.
