Cleaning of production strings from ARPD

Gasinvestproject can render services on cleaning of production strings (PS) from asphalt and resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) by means of industrial plant with use of jet-turbine engine of gas-fired heater M701. 

Our company has carried out successful pilot testing of this technology on the basis of department of well workover and remedial servicing of Rybatskoe deposit of Field Office "Akhtyrkaneftegaz" , OJSC "Ukrnafta". This method showed good results upon cleaning of production strings at the fields of West Siberia (RF). 

Description of the plant and cleaning technology: 

The plant for cleaning of production strings with use of gas-turbine engines increase output in comparison with other methods and plants of the similar purpose , improves labor conditions of maintenance staff and reduces environmental pollution. Installation of gas-turbine engines with ejector units on movable platform makes the plant mobile and convenient for operation ay oil fields since one plant can service several storages with production strings. 

Principal diagram of the plant for fired-gas heat cleaning of production strings with use of airborne gas-turbine engine as a hear generator is shown below: 

Operating principle of the plant is based on the use of hot gas flows, coming out of turbojet nozzle (1) with high pressure head. Reduction of the temperature of gas flow to the values , determined by conditions for cleaning of pipes, takes place in ejector device (2). Gas and air flow is sent from ejector unit to conveyor (3) with pipes that are subject to treatment. Paraffin is melted and removes through draining device (4) under the effect of high-temperature gas and air flow. Used gas and air flow is discharged into atmosphere (5) after corresponding cleaning.                      

This technology allows prompt and successful cleaning of up to 5 tons of production strings per one cycle. This process takes approximately 15-20 minutes (including loading/unloading of production strings to and from container) . It is also possible to clean strings that are highly contaminated with ARPD, including strings that are blocked inside with bars, which can't be extracted by means of press or other methods. Threads and strength characteristics of production strings retain due to monitoring of temperature mode.
